Jon Lyster has been seen and heard as a pianist and organ player in several bands and constellations. Since ten years back he has stood on his own two feet. He now writes lyrics and music and sings under his own name, together with a band.
Early in Jon's career, people began comparing him to Thåström, Gessle, Uggla and Eldkvarn. His writing is evocative and his melodies are on point. This is Swedish pop at its best.

Jon Lyster and his band offered a very energetic performance and Lyster really sang his heart out.
Musician, composer and conductor Stefan Sporsén, also joined the band on trumpet. Many Swedes will recognise him from the gameshow På spåret ("On track"), where Sporsén's band Augustifamiljen was the house band. Others might be familiar with him from Swedish singer-songwriter Håkan Hellström's band.
The way the stage was set up in the middle of the park, also with an open back, let people circle around it freely. This also made for some interesting angles to shoot pictures from.
